    It was a good day out, well worth the visit!
     
  6. Great pics. VWs and historic aircraft - can't beat it.
    I spent many hours working on the 54 Squadron Jaguar T2 in the 6th pic :thumbsup:

    The convoy looked really good. There was a rat rod(non Vw) that looked awesome too. Wish I'd had more time is have stopped and said hi!

  10. This was taken on a previous visit. What is the significance of the blue and yellow (squadron?) markings on the side?

  11. Yeah they will be squadron markings, I'll try and find out for you
     
  12. I thought they would be but they are fairly large and prominent compared with others. Didn't know if it was a 'limited edition' marking to commemorate an event.
     
  13. Yep, the squadron markings are 54 Squadron, based at Coltishall, north of Norwich.
     
  14. Shame I had to miss this :mad:
