Hi all, is it possible to replace the middle cill panel without having to cut out the door track, I need to replace the full length but dont want to disturb the track so looking to cut and stitch panel in. Any views would be appreciated

Do you mean the inner, the middle sill IS the sliding door track. It is possible to do both outers without removing the middle one

Hi david i need to replace all 3 but was hoping to leave the door track still welded to the floor and use a middle cill for a non sliding side, is that not an option?

You almost must leave the top of the sliding door middle sill as you don't get this with a new one and it stops the door falling out.
If you can also save the shelf it runs on and sill above this level it makes the job a whole lot easier.

Ok zed thanks for the info was going to cut the outer cill off and then see what I was left with,
I was hoping to leave the shelf on and fit the middle cill as the outer cill that I have has the track for the door seal hopefully iv bought the right inner and outer cills

  6. Just doing the same job today. I managed to cut the old one out just under the shelf and at the spots to the sill the new one doesn't match the curve unfortunately however the genuine Vw one for the other side does but doesn't have the seal slot. Will have to just faff about with it for ages as usual!

  7. As the others have said, the new middle slider sill won't fit

Take the outer will off and see how bad yours is

I carefully unpicked my middle will with the track runner, took it off my bus, repaired it and welded it back on
