Mayonnaise in yer toob

  1. Whats the meaning of mayonnaise type goo in your filler neck? Apart from chefs storing there salad dressings in there. Im sure ive read somewhere that its a sign of "something" (probably fatal) but cant find it now. And i have lots of it. Dipped my chips in it though and was actually very nom nom.

    I thought it meant water contamination which seems a bit weird o_O
     
  3. condensation creates it, if you do short runs or little use stood for periods of time etc. check your breather hoses and box cause if these block they can cause it too. I sometimes get a little round my neck too
     
  4. Your "mayonaise" is emulsified oil and water.
    It forms due to the high humidity in the air, mixing with oil vapour, normally worse if you only do short journeys.
    If you dont like the look of it, just clean it out with a clean cloth.

    Condensation and humidity make sense though.
