  1. Apologies if this is a popular question. I've searched and can't find what I'm looking for so for fear of repeating.... Here I go lol

Does the 2300 mean the max weight in kg the van can be fully loaded?

  4. Yes.
1010 on the front axle and 1300 on the rear.

  5. That weight limit surprised me. 2300 is a lot. After the conversion was done I had the van weighed with all the gear needed for a weekend away plus half tank of fuel and she weighed in st 1520.
I guess these leaves me loads of kgs left to use if im heading away for longer periods.

it's not a lot when you think of some conversions - a westy would weigh in a fair bit more than that i'd guess? if i use mine as an example fully loaded with a full tank of fuel and me and the mrs in plus 2 dogs and all our gear would easily weigh close to that limit.

  7. Don't forget you have to allow for up to 5 people and luggage, that alone could be 500kg! (Or more if they're American!)

  8. I guess I travel lite then. Still its good to know.

  9. With 5 people , 4 of them with lot of bagage, chairs, table ,tent, etc. would'nt surprise me if we where over loaded

  10. My van had no passengers, half tank of fuel, awning, two camping chairs, and a few other bits. 1520kg.

Leaves 780kg for two people, bit of food, contents of the small fridge, solar panel when it arrives and a bag to two of clothes. Still well within range then me thinks :)
