Marvellous film

Never heard of it but looks good. I’ll add it to my list.

 

Just to add if you like football.

This is supposed to be the best documentary on football made thus far - each is a remarkable story in their own right.

I have friends that say don't rent it, buy it, as you'll want to watch it more than once.

 

I'm a big Celtic supporter, so this is right up my street.

The best car chase sequence in the whole world ever & a MacGuffin.

 

Blues Brothers take some beating.

 

I agree with Malc one minute you'll be smiling the next you might have something in your eye if you know what I mean

No but I like the music in Blues Brothers.

It's as much about the collateral damage to all the cars not actually involved in the chase itself that make it so good.

 

No interest In football but that film is on another level it knocks blockbuster movies out the water.

Toby Jones is very underated but has been in some huge films

 

Was Ronin the one where a Citroen Xantia or XM stayed with an Audi S8?

Fine handling cars admittedly - but around a 3rd the power made it a bit less believable.

Or was it the Peugoet 406 living with the M5?

Hmm! A lot of it looks a bit artificial to me, like filmed in slomo and then speeded up. Good chase though but lacks the humour of the Blues Brothers.

 

For any other Toby Jones fans, I can recommend don't forget the driver on iplayer.

 

The Childish one liners he just says in detectorists are great.
