Traffic lights, Newmarket where I work has one, has loads of traffic lights for such a small town, we think the councillors got a job lot off Flea bay and looked for somewhere to stick, sorry place them. In my job in real life, not camper van world, I am often driving around in the early hours and often brought to a halt by these lights going through their cycle, nothing else around no other cars, WHY. On the continent traffic lights are often switched to flashing amber at nights (rule of the junction applies) Are we so backward in UK that we have to sit there while the lights go through the day time sequence wasting time and fuel. Or is it our drivers cannot be trusted to apply normal traffic laws at three in the morning. It's about time the rules were updated Rant over
