Looks spot on mate. I'm still faffing along with ours. Lots of repairs to the inner frame.

All we need is a wet coat now followed by clear coat and that's the door finished!

What did you use to strip the transit primer off the skins btw?

  9. @MorkC68 what type of paint are you using? Cellulose or 2k?

  10. we prefer to use cellulose as we can paint it in the garage :)

  11. We blocked it back with a DA sander then hand finished it afterwards

    That's looking good Mark

  13. Really loving the patience and attention to detail that's going into this. That workmanship would cost a fortune if done to that standard. Keep up the good work.

  14. the rest of Major doesn't look that good, he's looking quite sorry for himself at the moment :(

  15. Cool cheers. Painting mine in 3 weeks in celullose too but hadn't realised you could lacquer over the top. Is that celullose too? Does that get round the problem of having to cut celullose every so often to bring the shine and depth back?

  16. I think its cellulose laquer, ill check next Monday. Its supposed to keep the shine and save cutting it etc, it also stops the paint chipping as well, makes the surface a bit harder.
