Mains Hook Up Near Completion

  1. Will soon be able to remove the 4 gang extension lead, that sits inside feeding a small greenhouse tubular heater, and swap it over to a permanent install!

Just got to fit a couple of blanks in the small consumer unit and earth the chassis, wonder where most people do this?

I’m not keen on drilling lots of holes, the spare wheel recess has a nice 10mm hole that would fit a bolt and crimp perfectly, the consumer unit is under the rock and roll bed, fitted to a wooden back board and it’s a nice easy cable run.
This space is storage, so easy accessible should it need tested.

    Any input?

    Cheers

  2. A large self-tapper into any convenient metal panel

  3. ah ok, wasn’t sure if the main earth should be bolted.

    appreciate the info!

  4. As long as it's secure and makes good contact with the bodywork of the van, it's fine.
