madge our aussie import

hi hope the pictures of our bus make it on. we have had Madge for 6 years now. an aussie import , imported over by Recycling VWs. dont think they going anymore whatever happened to Lex the owner. top chap. anyway good solid bus but been through most of it as matter of course nothing nasty found and lashings of waxoil. new canvas last year made by the wonderfull helpfull people at Chesterfield specialist canvas services but diy fitted. lots of hols under her belt with the family and kye the dog. big smiles all round when we drive her. low points fitting new alternator then after few mins running lots of smoke and melted battery harness due to b+ threaded stud to long and just touching alt back cover, beware all. cheers anyway

thanks all, yes will look out for you in Darley Dale /Matlock area. to be honset i really couldnt tell you if it is genuine interior. it smells like it .ha ha. dont think the front seats are but def vw . left the roo bars on for a bit of character and somewhere usefull to hang the spare....1st vw we owned too. not had any paint by us but its has had some over the year. bit of patina as you call it
