Machine Mart VAT free days?

I was talking at work about getting compressor stuff from Machine Mart and someone said they sometimes have VAT free sale days.
Anyone know if this is true and if so, when might be the next one?

Typically I find they're never when you need something. Pretend to yourself that you don't need anything and one should pop up soon.

 

I seem to remember every four or six months - 2 or 3 times a year ... ??

Worth waiting for IF they still do `em , can`t remember seeing anything this year .

Nick, I found an independent compressor business around the corner from Machine Mart in Peterborough. Saved more than the vat and got a better machine for the job, plus they threw in fittings and some hose. Might be worth seeing if there's similar in your neck of the woods? Shop local is often best. Did the same when I bought a welder and found a great shop in Sleaford.
Alternatively SGS engineering do mail order. There stuff is excellent.
