Longest fail list EVER!

  1. MOT fail list on Bill was no less than three (3!) pages long!
Much of it easy, no cost fixes, but a huge pile of welding!

Pretty much the whole offside, step, sills, jacking points, battery tray, chassis mount, outriggers etc.
Near side is a bit better with battery tray, wheel arch and sill.
Off to local welder tomorrow to get it all done, reckon there's about a weeks worth!

That night out on the lash is getting even more expensive!

Good news is all the doors, roof, front panel, windscreen, floors, drop sides, in fact everything from 6" up is good, as are the brakes, lights, steering, electrics etc etc. :)

    You win some.........

  14. To be fair, I knew the bottom was rusty and I could probably get away with bodging some of it but why bother?
The top half is good and solid, we've been over it fairly comprehensively, still happy with the purchase overall and couldn't stop smiling while driving it.
It gets better as I've just got a garage that he fits into with plenty of room to work on him. :)
Really looking forward to working on him this winter now.
