Sneak preview as its Limes bus to share the photos but as it stood once the Red 9 front had been fitted. It settled more after a little spin around the block.
I've got pics on my website blog to show the new toys - Red9 twin wishbone front suspension, porsche boxster front rotors, calipers and a set of Creative Engineering adjustable rear spring-plates. Birdy has done a sterling job and his work is very much appreciated. Birdy - brake drum paint didn't whiff as much on my trip home so think it's settled in nicely!
I found it very strange in a good way. Steering was very quick and light even with the small steering wheel and fat Porsche wheels. You don't need power steering with this set up. But the ride is something you need to set to your own desire over time as it settles down. Spax shocks have loads of adjustment settings. It was really bouncy on its 0 setting and rock solid at the other end of the scale. Then there is the ride height. A spin round the block saw it drop about an inch.
just been looking at the blog - some good photos on there - would like to see some more though, stunning bus!
