Lets talk about gas for cooking and heating.

  1. My 77 riviera has a gas tank under it which feeds a 2 ring original coleman stove, I disconnected the tank yesterday to inspect it, it is original, but can it be safely reused? It has LP gas wrote on it.

My bus also has an original "furnace" which is also fed from the tank under the bus, I'd like to know if this would be a bad idea to think about using this or not?

I'm going to take the tank somewhere to be inspected, maybe refurbed with some new knobs and gauges, but where could I get the furnace inspected for safety?

I'd never use a ropey old boiler in my house so don't really want to do the same in the bus unless its 100% tip top.

Any one else using original gas appliances? What did you do to make sure it was all ok to use?

    Cheers

    Austin
