  1. LED bulbs in my westy interior light - What type do i need??? and where

anyone done this already? im sure chrisradio man mentioned it to me

  2. go on ebay and search for "led festoon" theres lots of different types, different numbers of LEDs, colours, for white there will be "cool" or "warm"
They seem to be mainly 36-42mm in length the connector in the light fitting is quite springy though so will accept the larger ones.
Dont get the ones that say canbus, they have a resistor in them so they draw more current so when fitted to a modern car they wont show a blown bulb on the onboard computer. Not what you want for camping, lower power the better.

  3. halfords do them off the shelf mate

  4. 30% online discount at halfords at the moment

  5. I have a spare set on a strip, same as I used after reading thread on here. PM me your address and I'll bang 'em in post...

  6.
  7. On its way...

The spades on the end should allow you to use the existing Westy switch iirc.

If you decide its not the right type for you... wire it up in the engine bay ;)
