Lattitude music festival (17 - 21 July)

  1. Hello everyone,

I know this isn't a vw festival but we are taking the van, has anyone been to this show in the past and did you take your vans.

    Thanks

  2. yep, I went about 4 years ago and also 2 years ago. A good venue, well run festival and not over crowded. The only issue most recently was the weather. It rained a lot and getting off the site was a mud bath. It took 4 hours just to get to off the site due to the lack of organisation and contingency for the mud and stuck vehicles.

  3. Third year in a row and has to be my favourite festival. Two years ago it was very muddy but last year was a scorcher and the festival just gets better every year. Just announced more acts last week for this years festival. It is going to be a cracker again. There are two fields for campervans, one is for family camping for those with younger children. The festival is pretty family orientated and safe. You will not find any chavs here.Never seen any trouble or bad language and everybody just chills out and has a great time. The campervan field is security patrolled and toilets are regularly cleaned. The pitch is as big as you need. We normally put up a large awning and a tent and its never a problem as long as you dont encroach the fire lane which is regularly patrolled by fire marshals. Dubs tend to migrate to one area, motorhomes to another and the winnebagos stay at the back of the field. This year there is a caravan and a motorhome joining us and it will not be a problem to all be together. Everybody should do Glastonbury once, but for value and quality of acts performing in an uncrowded and stress free environment Latitude will not disappoint. Hope to see you there.
