Late bay rear hubs/carriers and drums

Discussion in 'Late Bay Parts Classifieds' started by Yakboy, Aug 13, 2012.

  1. For an IRS conversion on my splitty (I am going to fit 5 by 130 PCD wheels and need the bay parts for the conversion)

  2. I've got a set of hubs (not sure what you mean by carriers?) and drums but they are 112x5PCD???

  3. The carriers are the things that attatch the hubs to the trailing arms and spring plates. Don't worry about the drums as I'm going to use the creative engineering kit with new 5 by 130 drums. If you PM me with a picture of what you've got and I'll tell you if it's what I need.
    Cheers
    Simon

  4. Hmm, I used the CE 5x130PCD kit on my late bay so I assume that the carriers are still being used by that kit. All I have is a set of 5x112PCD Drums and 5x112PCD hubs so not sure if that is of any use to you?

  5. I had a look at your site and saw that you had used the kit...(nice bus by the way)...so what parts did you need from your original set up? I's just all the parts that you don't get in the Creative kit that I need.

  6. i have the full set £100 u arrange carriage owen nw i broke a 78 van owen nw

  7. Sounds good, but how does postage usually stack up from Northern Ireland. If you provide me with box dimensions and weight , I will look into it, if it's reasonable then I'll go for it. I don't need the drums themselves but the hub carriers, backing plates etc. Please PM me and give details on how you would like paying.

    Regards
    Simon

  8. Zed

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

You'd do better on EarlyBay if you want wide 5...

  9. I don't want wide 5, as I already have them..I want to fit late bay carriers so I can use the creative 130PCD drum kit. You can get 130 PCD drums for split or prototype bay but the centre section of the drum sticks out too much and you can't have flat centre caps on your porsche wheels

  10. ill get a pic of all the bits , ill see my mate as he s the manager in parcel force should be able to get it posted reasonaly cheap , owen nw

  11. these have new cyclinders shoes cables all fitted too lol owen nw

  12. I had to use a 10mm spacer on the rears to fit the CE kit. Bit annoying as they are not notched to pass over the 2 hexagonal nuts so they were removed. From memory Transporterhaus does a set if you can get hold of him - went off the radar earlier this year :-(

parcel force 2 day delivery is £37.50 up to 25 kgs

    £42.50 up to 30kgs

  14. does not include 2 shafts

  15. I don't need the springplates or the trailing arms... It depends on what weight the whole lot is. I don't mind taking them if the extra weight doesn't bump up the postage too much.

    regards
    Simon

  16. if u dont need the spring plates and trailing arms that will cut the cost of postage a fair bit , owen nw
