Just to be clear that will be the £44 I paid plus postage to Cornwall (pssst! I will use MyHermes so will be a lot less than the £14 I paid)

 

Hang on a minute - it was originally offered to me for £30 + £14 postage (= £44) , someone, somewhere, has made a mistake, and now I'm paying extra
I'm feeling a little fleeced here... but, yes, if you could whittle that postage down it would be much appreciated.

I agree but I was also offered it for £30 + £14 postage (£44) which I have paid so don't see why I should lose out as it will cost me to send it on & all I will be left with is a courier bill! Maybe it's one for the ombudsman or maybe the seller can reimburse you the extra postage as it was his mistake in the first place?

 

How about I meet you half way with your initial postage, unless @Skattalite 65 is prepared to refund you your £14, and I'll pay the extra to then ship to me (assuming, as it should be, it's a damn sight less than £14)?

Hold on a minute you lot. If you look at the threads Sweeny Todd, you asked fir the roll of white headliner and then proceeded to post a pic of the stitched cab headliner. I was trying to be diplomatic but it was your error by the look of it. You paid £30 plus £14 postage. Don't try and make me look like dishonest because that is one thing I am not! You are trying it on by the sound of it by looking for £44 plus postage to Cornwall. I went with the first courier I found in Perth due to wanting to get the item to the buyer asap. Get a grip!

 

He put a price, £200 the lot, it's everyone else who wants to pick n choose

 

Hi see above for my original post, it quite clearly states "not the cab headliner". I am not trying to make anyone look dishonest!! I have been a trader on this forum for a few years now & know how it works! I send parcels to customers weekly so know how much a package that size & weight costs to send!! I can send a full roll of vinyl fabric 1400x400x400 over 30kg for £16
To save any more hassle I will keep the cab headliner & use it as a template to make more. Sorry @Moo

 

Yes, and you posted a pic of the stitched cab headliner that was eventually sent. In regards to postage costs, you could have commented on the "expensive " cost before you fulfilled the transaction, no? I would have been happy to look for a cheaper courier but you said nothing.
Plus you still got it for a good price.

As stated in my initial post, I have not done this before and you "experts" were not slow to express interest in the items.

Hi, Postage for the hubcap should not be too expensive, according to some on this forum. I haven't got a cost, as yet, but if ok with you, lets say £6 postage. If dearer, i shall make up myself. I shall wrap the hubcap but not box it, if ok with you. this will keep the cost down? Are you ok with this?
