Last thing you found

Whats the last thing you found that you kept.

I was fishing and i found a nifty stainless steel pen knife. Come in handy a few times since when fishing.

 

I found a tenner in the pocket of my jeans that had been in the camper for weeks and through the wash.. I kept it

 

I found my first ever LP, something which I cherished in the 1970s. It got packed away somewhere and I thought it was lost until last week. It's an original Elvis LP from 1960. It looks like its 10 years old. Not 51!

 

i found a £5 note in the back pocket of my jeans, odd because i never keep notes out of my wallet.
thought nothing of it so it got spent. about a week later i remembered my nan giving me a fiver for my 4yr old son. i put it in my back pocket.....

I found an old vintage cigarette packet under a bath when stripping out a bathroom . still got it and plan to keep it in the ashtray of the bus

 

i found the plug and strainer for the sink in the van earlier, it was behind the sink unit and i hadn't seen it, i took the seat out earlier to fit a fire extinguisher behind the seat and just happened to see it, it made me happy...how daft is that!

 

Found £10 beside the kerb a few doors up as i bent down to tidy up after the dog.... paid for coffees and cake on the train to Brighton Breeze

 

yesterday my lovely neighbour brought me a massive roll of fabric she'd found in a skip on her way to pick up her daughter from school. - she carried it home for me!!!! that is loving your neighbour.

I found that if i get up late for work I can guarantee my trouser leg will twist as i,m putting them on causing lots of hopping and eventual falling over and then a shoe lace will snap.grrrrrr

has anyone found my virginity? i lost it years ago.

 

I found a 10 inch long Plecostomus catfish on the lawn outside our flat....didn't take it home, but was worried :fish: as we have a couple indoors and wondered if the cats had been catlike

 

my sense of humour - down the back of the setee! Newsnight helped though!

 

Last year we went to Normandy in 2 WW2 Jeeps and on Omaha Beach i found an American Life Preserver belt as worn on D Day that was dropped on June 6th 1944!!!!

It was sticking out the cliff where the soldiers took cover.
