Our Kyhamn after 3 longish years of use has started to pop it's zips - the fabric and joints are still good tho Is it possible to get the zips replaced, or should we just gets another?
Ok So if your zips pop. Ie come apart after you have zipped them try this If you look at the puller from the side it resembles a u shape with the bottom of the u being the leading edge of the zip Zip pullers can be bent by use or abuse and the u shape opens out into a V, the zip then closes but pops open, If you carefully squeeze the top open edge of the zip back together with pliers so the sides are parallel again it should work fine Hope this helps I fix customers OutdoorJackets and sleeping bags like this all the time Al
Fab - if it holds dry over the weekend I'll get it out and crimp the zip puller as suggested You've just got to love this Forum 8)
Gently goes, just so the sides are parallel if you bend them too much they just snap Let me know how you get on Al
I know you've fixed yours but just for reference in case anyone else needs tent/ awnings repaired, I've used these guys in West Yorkshire before (you can post to them or drop in direct) and they were brilliant http://www.triopair.com/index.htm
