My grandpa was a telephone engineer and he knew all matter of tricks like that and secret dialling codes. He could connect up two separate lines at random and make them ring both ends. Such hilarity.
Just Google IpTv , there's loads of ways of getting onto some hardware , as stated earlier if you have a smart TV with an android based app store...you can download the IPTV app directly to the TV, pay for a subscription ( there's loads of providers) and away you go....all the channels in the world available at the touch of a button...along with all the films and TV shows and box sets available on demand and pretty much 100% service...miles better than kodi in my opinion...well worth the subscription...
My mum always told me to not get too close to the TV else my eyesight would suffer... Do you reckon that's what she meant...danger of splashback?
Our tv is about 11 years old So I’d need an Android box I take it that iptv is an app then you choose your vendor?
Nah, your head was in the way of Corrie and your mum couldn't see is all. Your excitement was probably down to the fact that a young Gail Platt always made one think she'd look better if her head sported Dierdry's perm....
An Amazon Firestick is an Amazon box para.....check what connections you have on the actually telly as you'll need a HDMI input usually. Also check the speed of your broadband as sometimes rural bandwidth makes any streamed content a misery (if it runs YouTube ok you should be ok I think).
There is still the small question of the legality of some of these iptv services. And the copyright enforcement people at FACT are sniffing around... the internet traffic can be traced to your ADSL connection and you may soon find an expensive proposition in a letter from a FACT lawyer on your doormat. Be careful. If it seems cheap somebody is being ripped off and they arent happy.
ISPs send warning letters if you are downloading ripped off content (apperently) - some people use a proxy server to hide what they are doing for about £5 a month......if you're the nervous type.
