I’ll take that. I’m normally called far worse. Often by complete strangers which can be a bit unsettling until you get used to it. Things were fine till that poxy Rouge Traders.
Only part time, I do four days out then three on other projects. I’m tres busy atm, but there’s light at the end of the tunnel
Not really anything the forum would be interested in mate. I did lose my beloved dog to an illness on Friday. I suppose I’ve been at a loose end tonight not having him to greet me when I came home from my four days trucking and werreting me for a walk all evening.
I’m sorry to hear that. I’ve lost three now and I think a bit of you dies with them every time. It does get a bit easier with time.
Very sorry to hear about your dog. They are a huge part of you life and it's heartbreaking when you lose them.
I knealt on a bit of brick crumb on a joist in a loft yesterday ,so your warning is just a day to late. Also some bright spark had earthed the light circuit on to a copper pipe and I got a slight tickle from the pipe ,earth leakage I think the sparky called it ,I'm not having a moan but thought you should know .Being a wind bag
Ok. Well if we are going to have a moan. I’m in one of my migraine cycles. Three days in so hopefully just a couple more to go. Luckily last nights was whilst I was in bed so I just went to sleep, so FU migraine. Ha.
Yeah, he hadn’t been right since we walked the Malverns a few weeks back. Took him in three weeks ago and said he had very little energy and could they check him over, they said they found a blocked ear but otherwise he seemed okay and gave me some painkillers. After a week he seemed worse, no energy and struggled to do a small walk so we took him back and asked for a thorough examination. Turned out he had a thing called Evan’s syndrome and his platelets, blood cells and heart were in very poor shape, his poor little heart had been working overtime just to do simple every day things because of the lack of oxygen in his very thin blood. They gave him a course of steroids on Wednesday and said he may need a blood transfusion if he doesn’t pick up, but when i took him back Friday afternoon the vet examined him and said he was very very weak and his heart wasn’t strong enough for a transfusion and it was best if we did the right thing by him. My knees nearly buckled if I’m honest. Anyway, he’s buried in the garden next to his mate the old cat, hopefully arguing about who’s closest to our fire. He was only 7, we expected another eight years of Parsons Russell slowly getting more and more grumpy as he drifted into dotage, but alas no. Thursday night x
Oh, I did put inner and outer sills on my sliding door side a couple of weeks ago, and having decided the angle grinder was pants at negotiating the top hat sections I sharpened my chisel bit on my makita SDS and created my own version of an electric air chisel, it worked well too.
