Was driving my bus of the ramps and my foot slipped off the clutch and ive driven straight into the vice mounted on the work bench and bashed my front panel in I feel sick as a dog im sick of the fffing thing
i know the feeling. the first day i backed it into the workshop space, i reversed it into a vice handle and put a massive hole in the upper rear quarter before we had even started. Great omen to carry through the build. No sweat bro. Breath easy. PSG
now is the time to take up that martial arts you were thinking about, go kick something, just not Nomad!
Im tempted to go kick every panel in and call it a rat bus Its going to need pins welding on and pulling to some sort of shape with a slide hammer and filling I only took the bull bar off a while ago what a knob jockey i was only taking it off the ramps to have a spin round the village to try and motivate myself to get back working on it I should have never bought a vw camper i should have just bought an old builders transit Six years this year ive had it and its been a pain in the rear the entire time
wooa there para doodle , just think , you would never have met us nutters if it wasn't for the van sort it our dude , its only metal and your good with metal
Look on the bright side - It's not painted yet. Spare on the front? Also you can now join an elite club of wrinklies. It's quite fashionable donchaknow... http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=39590
Removed the kick panel from the cab to see if i can push it out from behind and found its split my electric washer bottle that was fitted there Managed to push a section of it back out with my foot which made me feel better Im sure i can get it near to shape with a bit of persuasion and finish of with a skim of filler its just more work i didnt need at the moment Oh well its done now so no point getting stressed about it im going to get piddled and watch the football On the bright side the suns come out
Unlucky mate. On the bright side, once England get beaten tonight it'll all pale into insignificance. Is the damage below the airbox height (so you can get to the back of the whole dent)?
Yeah luckily its below the airbox and missed the headlamp Now go wash your mouth out dude we aint going to lose
