Just sayin like......

Vans been sat since spring camp last year. Battery connected, no fresh petrol not been touched at all. Until today.
Fired up first turn of the key and about 5s of turning over. Been chugging away sweetly for 20mins now, not even a hint of rattly/drained hydro lifters that I used to get.

Top stuff.

But it is the only thing thing that's changed from previous years. And it always sounded like a bag of spanners for 10mins with the oil I used to use.

 

i forgot to tell you betty emptied our fry pan in their at camp

 

I did change the brake pads as well. Must be that.

Duckhams (which you can't get anymore) in a different tin. That's what I'd put in my bay, if I still had it.

I use the same oil in my hydro lifter engine too.

Done this for the last 20 years or so - load of tosh about fuel `going off` over winter ....

 

I'm shocked that you haven't used the van for a whole year.

 

It has been used........as a shed.

 

Have you got the only MOT'd shed in the village?

 

No mot or tax since last June.
