i put an add in gumtree derry looking for a hard top for my ole triumph spitfire , i sold to my mate , well got a message from kinross saying i have a new one i bought for my self , but being a retired pensioner i find it now harder to get in and out , its new jsut a bit dirty hanging in garage . i asked if he would box and wrap it for collection fibre glass so light enough , he said ill take it to the port for ye if ye want to , i asked how much , he said i think £110 is fair bloody right its fair , he said ill get some card board from the recycle centre and wrap it for ye too well he called to night , to say it was done , BUT i lost the fitting kit . he then says but i made a new one for ye in my workshop , I was a design engineer in the defence sector submarines , well we hit it off straight away , we spoke for an hour over the phone ,then james the mate lands and speaks to him , iasked how much now did i have to pay , he say £100 is enough lol james sends him £130 and says get a bottle of whiskey om me for xmas he asked if he could come over inm the new year in his camper ,
