Hope it's not too late to sneak in the most stupid question of the day.. Are gearboxes different LHD to RHD? Yes, stupid question I know, but on my (LHD) bus the selector lever on the 'box is on the same side as the clutch pedal - if it were a RHD bus, wouldn;t the selector lever be on the opposite side of the bus to the clutch cable, or does it cross over under the bus?
Sorry mate but pmsl! Of course they arent and if the selector is on the side of the box its a T25. Unusual conversion for a bay but its been done (or have you a T25 bus).
our is a lhd, the wheels kept falling off on the A1, did that mean we had Dickys rhd wheels fitted by accident
No such thing as a stupid question dude the only stupid thing is not asking the question No change in the box for left or right hand drive
yes, it's the clutch operating lever and it defo comes out of the side of the gearbox - so same question applies - does the cable cross over to the other side for a RHD bus? CK code box from a T2. If the gearbox is fitted to the engine, does that mean the engine is different for a RHD or a LHD bus - maybe i've got the wrong engine in as well?
