Just got back from Devon...and we weren't at RTTS but saw loads of vans on M5

  1. Had a weekend away in Devon to my brother-in-laws civil partnership, which was a great doo, but not something to share here...

This was the first outing with our trusty Confort being towed by our Camper. The van coped very well considering it was laden with 4 adults, 2 children, a dog, all our luggage and the confort behind us.

and just a quick pic of the van decorated with its bow as we used it for the wedding car.

Note the quick paint job done last weekend when the sun was shining? Not too bad for a quick go over with rustoleum and a paint roller!

    Looks smart!
    Unless it's a mini bus I'd check you're insured for 6 passengers.

  3. Surely if there are six seats, and manufactured / professionally converted to six then there shouldn't be a problem .

  4. It'll say on the V5 :)

  5. It is in fact a microbus conversion and had 12 seats fitted when I bought it! It is however insured to carry upto 7 people as I specifically checked this out when I was searching for insurance for it. So thanks fort he concern but it is sorted and legal in that respect.

I can only assume back in the day that squashing people into the rear of vehicles was perfectly acceptable!

  6. There was RTTS and Big Sunday in Devon , do there were loads around.

We saw a few on the way back from Croyde yesterday :)

  7. Plymouth Volksfest was on also, but living 1 mile away from Plymouth volksfest, its expensive and now more a music festival we travelled 100 miles to The Big Sunday, proper VW day!!!!! ;)

  8. Love yr tintop :)
