John Lewis have done it again! It's the story behind the pictures ....

 

For me the competition to produce the best Xmas ad ever closed with a trampolining boxer dog. Simply can’t be bettered.

you d be right , i like his music especially candle in the wind for diana , but he is a jumped up diva

I suppose JL have to keep coming up with something new each year that tops last year.....I don’t think this does, nice as it is. Thing is the world and his wife seem to be coming up with JL style Christmas ads now. Kinda loses its specialness.

I’d never realised how much his voice has changed over the years! I’m far from the biggest fan of him as a person, but as a musician, he is hard to beat! Would be nothing without Taupin though, he’s the true genius behind it all.

 

I agree. I tend to buy mine from toolstations. I like the ones with eyelets fitted so you can tie them down

They’ve got a special Xmas offer on toupees. Maybe that’s why they chose him?
