JK steering column coupling.

  1. Just fitted a new rubber coupling to the base of my column. Big difference in steering feel. The old one was badly cracked but still seemed solid. Bought it from jk because they were genuine VW and only £15. About £10 cheaper than elsewhere. Looks and feels like a top quality part. Very happy with it.
  2. What was it like to replace?
  3. Not bad. Take the 2 screws out of the cover at the base of the column first. If you have a helper it would be a lot easier. I did it on my own. Be prepared to make a new horn wire. Mine snapped.
  4. Zed

No need for that, the job is done from underneath.
  5. Bolts were too long to push up:(
