Hi all. As I now have loads of spare jets from rolling road sessions. It led me to think what about a place to swap jets. Just let me know if I am thinking up a silly idea. I know some are cheap but not all. I do know no one will want a load of F78 weber emulsion tubes.
Trying to think about how this would work. peeps could easily post a list of what they have, but then I began to think about logistics. We would have to constantly keep updating it as jets come and go. It could get busier than Heathrow.
It's good to have a set when you're messing, so maybe a roving set of the usual suspects - when you get settled, simply replace the ones you used to make the set complete for the next sucker experimenter.
And a little book to go with the jets where each person can list their engine spec and the jetting they ended up with. That would be handy.
Hmm. Off to the zoo in a mo with the little man. Will have a good think about this while watching the monkeys.
