As some of you might know Im in the middle of putting new canvas on my poptop.. A bloody heck of a job if Im honest and it has become a respray job as I go. :'( :'( Anyway with typical magical trev excitement i wanted to go for a spin with the whacking great hole in the roof rag top styleeeeee!! Told the kids it would be an open top blast in the sun and got them all suited and booted. This is something I wouldve given my right leg for when I was a kid so thought they would be the same!! How wrong was I???? 5 mins down the road I looked in the mirror and saw the most unhappy little campers i have ever seen. Couldnt believe it I was having the time of my life so what went wrong?? Turned out they never wanted an open top bus!! It was too cold too windy and bits were flying in their eyes!! : : Blooming kids tomorrow when they are at school Im off for a grin on my own!! ;D ;D
Happened to me when I drove my van back from the restorers with the hole cut for the poptop. The garage did all the cutting and welding, while I resprayed the roofcap at home. Driving home was the coldest, dampest, drizzliest, most miserable journey I've ever made in the bus.
it was a bit cold and windy today trev still i agree with yer, ungratefull kids, send em to bed and have a voddy ;D
