Had a go at making some wooden pictures. The wood is cut through and I've put black felt behind it to give a good contrast. The picture of me and Jan was tweaked on the computer to make a very high contrast photo which I turned into a pattern. Then I thought about getting ready for Christmas.
Starting to get ready for my craft fair at the end of the month. Wooden jigsaws and an advertising sign to go on the stall for my wooden key rings. It's got a proper sized one at the top and the other three are about 100 times bigger to attract all the customers.
I like them sandybay. which scrollsaw machine do you use, and what size blades do you use. I have a axminster saw but have not gotten round to using it much..yet. busy with other things on van instead....
Great stuff my dad used to do all that stuff i think his machine is in my mums garage somewhere testing patience prob not good idea at mo , great work thou bob, when you are a millionaire you wont forget us will you and move to another level
Here's a pic of the saw I learned on. I still use this for the very delicate stuff These are the blades I use most, I have to get them from the USA because no one in England stocks them. For the thicker wood or when I'm stack cutting I use this I'm getting properly organised for the craft fair in a couple of weeks so I got some business cards and then made a stand to put them on. How I'm gonna laugh if I've gone to all this trouble and nobody buys anything.
