that we bubble wrapped a death trailer! The new incarnation of Cargo has gone to the GRP company to be used as the mould for Retrolight Trailers. It was quite a stressful day but we're pleased to report he made it in one piece... A relieved Steve and a shiny Cargo!
It was Dogs'n'dubs 1965 trailer, Cargo, and after some redesigning work by crazycaver, it's going to be used to create the mould for the new Retrolight Trailer project... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Retrolight-Trailers/284907861533375?ref=ts
We expect the base model, which will be a load hauler with no windows, to be around the £3000 mark. We will then be offering various options like colour coding, windows, sleeping interiors, alloy wheels etc etc
Steve put so much work into making the new improved Cargo perfect for the moulding process that we couldn't watch as he was transported and unloaded just in case there was a ding but happily, all went smoothly. Big sighs of relief all round and heads out of hands! Cheesy chips to celebrate!!!
