It's Burns night

Heathens, the lot of you!!
We had haggis, neeps & tatties for lasts night in celebration of the Immortal Bard.
With a few wee drams & lots of Scottish music on the stereo. ^-^

 

I can only imagine how bad hagis tastes, the veggie version was vile, I must have eaten it well over 20 years ago and I swear I can still taste it now

 

well robyip and i are currently recovering from the monumental amount of stodge we just ate.
i ate vege haggis ( waitrose!!!) bit too many nuts should have had more oats in it. the other adults had a massive proper haggis ( the boys refused and just ate mashed potato and gravy.) nips and tatties. followed by smiddy dumpling shortbread and whisky and iron bru. and indoor fireworks.

It's Burns night and my wedding anniversary. We had a bit of a scottish theme for our wedding but I couldn't get Graham into a kilt )

 

i love haggis. don't think i'd ever eat a vege one though! prefer to eat lungs and other innards
