Afternoon! On the basis I stripped my 2l type 4 18 months ago, and I'm getting old, I've forgotten lots of basic stuff I've done loads of times. Google and forum search isn't helping either! I expect this to be the first of many posts like this..... Oil Cooler - there are different thickness washers, and think one goes behind but I can't remember. Which washers go where? Fan Shroud - thin wavy washers that I think go on the studs first followed by the shroud. Is that right? and they are the first jobs I started looking at! Thanks in advance Gerry
Cooler: thick washer, thin washer, nut, all on top of cooler, Haynes is confusing here. Housing, again spring (wavey) washers under the nuts, nothing under the housing.
