This was on show at Volksworld back in march, it looks okay close up but there are better out there - Mango72 or Markbutler47 would easily be on par n that's off the top of my head!!
Nowt wong with Danbury conversions , they have been at it a long time and my first one was a Danbury , its just the Brillitaint that its below it thats suspect .
55 grand is pathetic. Half the price of some houses for gawd sake and will only be worth £25k in 3 years time. Only an idiot with more money than sense would pay it. It's a Brazilian import. Someone should put a match to it. I wouldn't pee on it if it were alight.
i like it including the front grille, would maybe use one of them if i ever did a water cooled conversion!!
Wouldn't bother with one,my mate hired a 57 reg and it was rusting round the doors already, and was very tin tin if you know what i mean :censored:
You can't knock Danbury for the quality of work they do, the bus underneath it is not their fault. Would it be better if they took the old stock of buses off the road and converted them - how much would they cost?! I guess they supply to a cachet audience - I also think they contribute to the cult as it were - lots of promo vans are done by Danbury - which would exist were it not for them. I think Danbury are a good thing - and to get our vans up to an 'as new' vehicle would cost not a million miles off those prices if you paid commercial rates for the labour. Do I like that one in particular - not for me, but then I am not a company looking for a tax break.
It was in last month's camper & bus. It's absolutely boggin. I know a lot of work will have gone into it but £55k for something that looks like that? Away and jump.
