Is there a supply problem

Whilst looking at all sort of bits from all sorts of vw suppliers of late
Ive noticed a lot of parts on back order for a fair while

Is there a supply problem with parts from brazil or somthing?

I would think the docks have shed loads of bits but the suppliers wait till they get enough orders to make paying the import tax worth while. Thats how it often works so as we the public have no cash to buy the suppliers have no cash to pay the import tax.

just my guess work.

 

I was told by one supplier that the prices are on the up so they don't want to carry the stock,and they also said alot of people are not bothering to restock parts sold out due to the continuous price hike.Sorry to bore you but in buisness I deal with brazil and there economy is on the up big time so this obviously reflects in our prices over here.

its a problem at the brazil end is all i know.

hopefully parts are not going to get deleted (alot of genuine bug bits have been)

people are trying to get the stuff in,all the traders want your money as much as you want the parts!
