Just got my overnight bag out of the work van and decided to empty it out, put some clothes in the wash and oooppss i find about 20 nescafe sachets, 12 pg tips tea bags and numerous sachets of sugar. I have this habit when i stay in a hotel i take whats left of the tea, coffee, sugar and also the shower gels and shampoo, is this theft or am i entitled to take them.???? C C
I think if you asked everyone to clear out their buses they too would have a number of sachets of assorted stuff from service areas and hotels and if that's the case then I'm guilty as hell.
Dunno but its there for a reason and i don't think its very hygienic for them to leave it for the next person so i always take them too, doing the cleaners a favour innit. Its sometimes necessary to do this at work too when its not yet payday and they stock up the cupboard in the yard with tea bags That said when we run out its usually me that goes and buys more.
Thats always been my opinion Mork but i've just had a guilt trip when i saw how many i had gathered up. Needless to say they're now stashed in the camper as they do come in handy when we are day tipping in the bus.
my bongo was stocked with mcdonalds suger , cafe sauces , vinegar and mayo satchets , i'd never thought of it until i got the bongo , now everywhere is game services , restaurants , anywhere . it is theft and i think you should be tied to the nearest post and flogged to within a inch of death , you naughty person you ;D
Cheers Poptop, not sure about the near death bit but ya cant beat a damn good thrashing. :-[ Ahh not supposed to enjoy it are you.
Well... I HATE MacDonalds with a passion,,, but do nip in to use their loo's whilst travelling, i always buy a coffee and and come out with a handful of their plastic knives and forks they are so sturdy and useful and individually packed too. ;D
If its not bolted down ave it It's in the price of the room and it's all good fun The last travel lodge I stayed in they left the trolley outside the room I was going to have the wheels to make a dolly for moving engines about on but did nt have the right sized spanner lol
I've got a few pairs of the hotel slippers stashed in the bottom of the wardrobe at home. 5 star hotel replaced your slippers every day if you removed them from the cellophane anyway so I thought fair game.
