Thanks Neil. Very kind, I think it was 18mm

I've brought the stainless steel surround so that should help cover some gaps. Might even have a go this weekend.

Jesus. The one I saw was a unit behind the drivers seat, bed board, fancy pants lighting and electrics. It didn't include the bed, upholstery, flooring or door cards. Don't know if it included fridge and hob.
The doors on the unit were fitted wonky.
    £9k.

Yep. And they're invariably advertised as "bespoke"...

  6. Mine is bespoke, I made it myself. I thought doing your own thing was part of the camper culture. 13k for a 'fitted' camper is ridiculous. You could get another van for that. Or a very nice mgb.

We paid £1850 for the SJH interior in Gusbus, £500 for the Upholstery and £350 for the R n R bed, Michelle made the curtains and cushions for £80. Suits us!

Im not sure yet what direction to go with Majors interior, modern version of the westy one or something more bespoke.

  10. I'm more than happy with my interior. The company I used were not overly expensive. I had a complete refit (cupboards, sink, hob, roof lining, full set of panel & door cards, new full width bed, upholstered front seats and headrests, upholstered bunk, full electrics, lighting, speakers, flooring). I've not had any issues and the craftsmanship is great, much much better than I could ever have done.

Paid nothing like the cost of those published above...

Just had a look. The stuff looks nice but why oh why don't these places put prices on their standard items?

  14. I think I paid £1200 fitted for the bed frame, buddy seat, overhead locker, full furniture and around £1500 for all the upholstery (door cards, kick cards, mattresses full bed and upper cushion, buddy seat cushions, front seats, headlining etc)

    That sounds cheap!
Might look them up if we keep ours.

    Not sure mate.
We don't really use it. We've had the fear of taking a baby camping until now. He's 2 now though so that might change. To be honest, we used to turn up at sites, park up and go on the sauce for the weekend. Not sure I'll actually enjoy "camping"!
We want to move house but there's nothing about with a garage like ours. Most places round here have built in garages which are no use to man n'or beast!
