Iris, A 1985 3.2 911 Carrera Sport in Iris Blau metallic, I said I bought her because the colour matched the wife's eyes. She seemed to believe me, good job I didn't buy a red one. A lot of shared DNA with VW, engine is an air cooled flat 6. She has been Manchester to Le Mans and back four times. Like many bays on here despite being immaculate I knew there was deep seated rust. 12 months and £20k later, here she is being delivered back. New Sills, B pillars, scuttle and many other repairs. The difference in handling is amazing, these cars need to be stiff to work properly.
Ah, how did I miss this one! Lovely car I have a soft spot for the early 70s RS and RSR albeit the prevalence of all of these backdates and resto mods is making them quite a common sight nowadays!
