IPhone/iPad app

  1. I have previously downloaded "Road Trip Light" for keeping a check on fuel consumption. But you can only use the free version for one vehicle. Now I have found another app called "Mileage Keeper" which is free, and appears to have unlimited number of vehicles. It's a bit basic in appearance, but does the job ok. Can be used on iPhone or iPad. 8)

  5. thanks - I downloaded and will give this a go. I want to keep better track of how many miles I do and how much it costs to run.

  6. Hi all,

Just thought I'd add that I use an app called Car Minder, which allows you to track your MPG, but also lets you set up a maintenance schedule for your bus, which will then remind you about what tasks need to be done and when. You can schedule tasks by mileage and by time so as you buy petrol for your bus, and you fill in the mileage, it'll remind you.

    I don't think it's free though!

    Cheers

  9. Been using Car Manager for about a year now.Excellent App. Designed for anybody owning one or more vehicles. Allows you to store everything related to them. Admin info, insurance, fuel costs, maintenance expenses, mileage of next maintenance, dates of inspections, and info regarding favourite suppliers etc etc. Noticed on my last outing to campermart fuel consumption had doubled, a call to the garage confirmed that my clutch had been slipping,it saved me having an expensive breakdown.I think the app is around £2 and the lite version is free, worth every penny on the upgrade.
