Need a new phone for work.
Never had an iPhone as I've always had Android / Samsung, so I want to see what all the fuss is about!
Preferably unlocked, but O2 network would be okay.
O2 network works best (I'm on Vodafone and it's useless at work although great everywhere else including home!)
I'm not after anything great or expensive, but obviously working, and not needing screen replacement etc (owning a Late Bay is my foray into renovation and repairs!)
So if you've just upgraded and want to off-load your old outdated phone.....

Wife's got a 5c , it's a work phone so she'd have to ask but put a cheeky offer in if its of interest, she's just changed to 5s cos the 6 too big.

You want a min of a 5 some of the newer software functions don't work on lesser modals

If anyone has a 5s I am after one

I probably couldn't afford it to be honest, cheeky or not! I was looking around the £50 mark which was why I thought a 4s. But thanks for the thought. What network out of interest?
I only want it as a 2nd phone because my normal contract one with Vodafone won't get signal at work, and thought I'd scratch a minor itch to see what iphones are all about at the same time. The 4s is still an okay phone from what I've heard, and would be a good one for me to check out the Apple world domination thing before I potentially give myself over to the dark side entirely when my contract is up for renewal in 12 months time.

I think it will be network free, she'll ask on Monday anyway.

    Think I've got a 4 and 4s

One had rear cover smashed but apparently these can be replaced easy enough for couple of quid buying bits of eBay. I'm to lazy to check.

If your interested then I can take pictures and find out if they unlocked and exact models.

Probably £35 posted if you want.

Ideally you want the newest model you can afford.

  8. I have lots of 4S but they're all on EE/Orange I think. Yours if you can get one unlocked. I use them as satnavs.

Not sure how easy unlocking is? 0range / EE is pretty rubbish unfortunately down here. I'll do some research. Thank you :)

    This phone is unlocked.

Was on O2 but I now have a 3 sim in so must be unlocked.

    Model shows A1387 which is a 4S

Comes with a case so you won't notice the rear screen smashed, but as I said these can be brought apparently quite cheaply on eBay.

    Get other details shortly.

The other phone is a 4s as well. Just waiting for it to charge so I can check to see if it is unlocked.

Just checked. It's not unlocked but is on O2.

How about £35 for the broken unlocked one and £45 for the locked to O2 but not smashed.

Either phone comes with this USB cable. Not original I'm afraid, but works.

It does look pretty easy to replace the back, so I'm gonna go with unlocked but smashed. That's brilliant, thank you @Razzyh

Thank you @Flakey, but I think a 5C will be too much dosh for a work phone, and I'd have to get a new sim etc to fit it, so will go with a 4s. Thank you and your wife anyway. :)

Sounds a bit complicated to get EE to unlock things when bought 2nd hand, so will go with an already unlocked one. Thank you anyway :)
