Just found out I need insurance in place before I can register/tax our bus in the UK. Can you recommend some good, reputable, reasonably priced insurance companies? Also is there anything I specifically need to know, be aware of, or avoid when sorting the insurance out? Thanks
You want a classic policy presumably with agreed valuation. RH Specialist are good Cherished are good now they've sorted their breakdown service (ask for the forum discount) Do a search on here, ite been discussed millions of times.
I have used Adrian flux for both my unregistered vehicles, you usually get 30 days where its insured on the chassis number, this gives enough time for mot and registration
Search for Adrian Flux on VZi before spending money with them. I've not used them personally but I've never read anything good about them!
yup,just called them when the registration number came through and they change the details at no cost, have a 15k insurance valuation cost £115 a year I have insured around 20 cars through them since a were a boy, had a clain for a damaged car for about 1k assessed and payed out within 2-3 weeks, im very pleased with them
I claimed with them and they were good as gold. Even put the claim on hold whilst I moved house. Only left as the price jumped massively one year. Will be trying them again in December.
