Can people please give me an idea of what you're paying to insure your van? Managed to find someone who will insure me, and for the wedding hire too...(lots of people said I had to be 25) but not sure if its just too much or not... An idea would be nice you don't have to say exactly but just trying to get a rough idea x would really appreciate your input x
just got my renewal, £135 fully comp with agreed value and limited milage wedding hire will bump it up and you may need public liability insurance too
problem is most of us are either a lot older than you, or have limited miles or other vehicles and don't do weddings, i paid £132 this year 3000 miles and agreed value of 15k
I'm ancient (37) and we pay just over £200 with breakdown cover and agreed value. That's on a driveway also as at the time it wouldn't fit in my garage. I've took the door and frame out and now it just fits. No better security wise but at least it's dry. Just so you know...
Your age and the wedding thing put you in for a completely different type and price for the insurance. I'd be very surprised if it's under £1k.
Jesus... I suppose with the weddings its goog to be expensive and due to my age... Sugar buttys...its a hell of a lot more than what you're paying... Waaah
Yours is always going to be considerably higher if you're doing weddings as its being used for hire or reward. I pay about £130.
£180, 2 named drivers 40+, kept on drive and includes breakdown cover and agreed value. Think it was Cherished this year. Good luck with the wedding business
I'm 37, and have the bus on a 5k limited policy. Mine costs just over £200 because I live in the ghetto.
Just over £300 - agreed value £8000 I think its the M in the postcode that does it. Includes breakdown as well though.
It's always depressing reading what others can get their insurance for. I think ours was £580 for fully comp, breakdown, agreed value, with Richard's spotless driving record - stupid living in Croydon and parking it on the street...!
I think she's justifying the excrutiating restoration costs with future possible earnings. Knocking shop would pay it off quicker? You should do ok
