  1. Anyone got any recommendations for an endoscope which will plug into an iPhone? Are the £20 eBay Chinese ones as good as you expect?

I’ve had a couple but they do depend on an app to operate the little Wi fi gadget part of it that’s needed because of the apple platform. They’re great but the app doesn’t usually get maintained and once that’s gone it’s useless. I haven’t tried the android one yet but it doesn’t need the Wi fi bit. I’m now android so will get one at some point and hopefully it’ll be good forever plus they’re cheaper between five and fifteen quid. If you click on the one you’re looking at, then go right to the bottom of the page, it’ll show you what others have bought and they’re usually cheaper.;)

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, I bet you look up your nose or in your ear :):easter::)

I had a really cheap android one off eBay…. worked fine.
Best to treat them as a disposable item that you need for a particular job….if they continue to work….bonus.

I found with the eBay USB bore camera I got, it works pretty well with a Windows laptop, plug n play.. and all the Android apps I tried were rubbish or tried to sell my soul.
It twists my brain when the picture is out of focus, randomly upside down or twisted at some odd angle and badly illuminated with backscatter from the little LEDs placed behind the glass disc at the front of the camera.
