    Morning All
ive found i have an exhuast leak from the heat riser pipe on the left hand side as it joints the bottom of the bottom of the inlet manifold, is this something that can be fixed easily ? or is it a new part
if it is all steel i'd say it could be welded, but i didnt check if the cast bit is steel o_O
i'm half wat through removing it (which some of you know is a bugger of a job)
    suggestions welcome

If it's an aftermarket one where those riser tubes come out...no idea other than find yourself an original one.

  4. Personally, I’d try and find a good used one. Stick a Wanted ad on here?

I have used JB Weld on mine. By the time it reaches the manifold the temperature seems to be below the 260C rating of JB Weld..
    Or exhaust jointing paste.
Pull the pipe out, smear, replace, reassemble onto exhaust and engine before it sets.

Aftermarket ones are meant to come apart so you can trim the tubes for the width of the engine..

Good to see you on here Steve, hope you are well ?
I think it’s an original one, but will check, once i get it off it will be a bit easier to see what going on

Arh yes.... you can keep that  but thanks for looking

Im guessing the new ones you can buy from the usual suspects are all chep repros ?

  11. They're possibly made by EMPI

I would clean that and JB Weld it for now. I sold mine to another TLBer recently.

  16. Will in weld hold up to exhaust gas temperature?
