The Asian man in Handsworth who's son had been run over and killed with two of his friends , he stood there in front of the reporters holding a picture of his son and asked for calm , said he blamed no one and wanted no retribution .
    A dignified man .

I've got to agree, what a gentleman in every sense of the word.

  4. Amazing - there are so many stories of good people coming out to help, we need to remember there are more good people than bad.

  5. It's heartwarming to see things like that happening, in amongst the rioting lowlife scum. I am still flabbergasted by the whole thing, I am clearly very naive because my opinion of the UK population and their respect for humanity and community is clearly warped :(

  6. This man has amazing courage after what has happened to his family, I hope his actions can bring about calm.

However I take issue with the fact that these men had to be stated as being "Asian" Men in the first place. It should not matter whether they were black, white or green. They were 3 men who died trying to do what was right. This country tries so hard to present a intergrated society, so why should it matter what colour their skin was??

I think he was very reasoned and would not have words put in his mouth by reporters !.
