Has anyone seen codes etched into windows of an imported vehicle? Was looking at an imported bus the other day and all windows had been very crudely etched with the same so called security code. The owner said that it was done by police when it was exported over to the UK !
Lagos, Nigeria 1976. I was advised to etch my registration on all 'stealable' parts of the bus, all window glasses, lights etc. Our bus was the only private bus in the city, the rest were taxi's, and theft was a big problem. I'm sure 'Dans Bus' is the only survivor of the thousands that were unfortunate enough to have been consigned to die in Nigeria. Tony
