I don't know if I'm frustrated or fascinated that these retarded nobodies can make a shed load of money by just being totally thick morons. With the success of programmes like TOWIE, Made in Chelsea and Geordie Shore it doesn't look good for our culture and society in general. Darwin was wrong and these people are living proof. Soz. Rant over.

I know, very scary. It's a shame as the good hard working kids get very little recognition and certainly not the pay packets.
My eldest is 14 and is working hard as she wants to be a paediatrician, doing her D of E etc and intending to go to university. She cold get more money getting a boob job, eating McD all day and having drunken sex on TV and get more money from it. The world has gone mad.

 

yep, and what's more some of the parents aspire to it for their kids now too, this generation have been failed by government and media alike when i was younger i never dreamed of being famous or rich other than from hard work etc, i thought that famous people were talented such as sportsmen or inventors etc, the world has indeed gone mad.

You can't blame the media @rickyrooo1 , do you not know they are only making these top shows because we want them just like all the cheap crap fast food its because we love it.

 

agree to a point but media force it on the masses and then the gullible are let to believe it's what they want through the power of tv marketing and advertising. weak willed people then do as they are told.

I think it's a vicious circle perpetuated by the media. Lots of easy money and glamour made without having a talent and having to work hard. Image is everything. Advertisers sell their product on the backs of these programmes. Kids see the life style and want a piece of it.
Think of première league football. Little skill, no brain, mega pay packet, sponsorship deals, lot of TV coverage and fame. It's hard for a kid not to want to aspire to this. If they lack football skill then it's TOWIE type celeb status or Jordan (or whatever she calls herself now.)

 

I'm sorry I have never watched this TV show, and from the adverts can honestly say I do not recognise any of the so called "celebrities"

 

You need to get out more.

I hope they all get really bad sickness and diarrhoea, then they ought to be made to take the choice of either eating there own sick or there diarrhoea .....that might make it abit more entertaining rather than let poor old creatures suffer.
