Don’t hang this stuff up in bird feeders of branches of trees, in old peoples residential homes. The hemp seeds fall into the soil and grow as (harmless) Cannabis looking hemp plants, causing police to turn up. ( ask me how I know…).
My brother had a long story about how he found some abandoned gerbils while visiting a particular clearing in the wood. Yes he had planted bird seed, yes it looked the part but did not deliver, ... the gerbil family was the only thing any good that came of it.
