Agreed but ( haven’t read it all ) it is quite refreshing to see someone owning up to their “shortcomings”. ( contrast Liz T.)
Obviously he has a vision that progressed this. He must have had major legal and accountancy advice.
Did he ignore the advice, was any advice given?
Frankly what we are experiencing here in UK makes light of these stories.

 

Just used the deposits as his own personal bank. Used funds to prop up his other businesses and blamed his on/off girlfriend.
Spent millions of other people's money buying property, funding USA political parties, advertising and paying large sums to celebs.
Company who are now overseeing the bankruptcy says he's never seen anything like it.

 

Many others must have at least seen or worse been complicit in this .

 

I’d put money on it that others knew.

Where loads of money and unregulated business meets who knows.
